Mixed from six different ingredients, Sangdruk (Tib.: གཟང་དྲུག་; Whylie: gzang drug) is a traditional substance widely used in Tibetan Buddhist rituals. You can add small quantity of Sangdruk to your favourite incenses, or use it when filling statues and stupas, or add to torma.

This Sangdruk is handmade herbal mix of six different ingredients is prepared accordingly to ancient formula. This substance comes in a convenient powdered form and widely used in Tibetan Buddhist rituals:

  1. Added to your favourite incenses and offered to the Three Jewels. Being burnt, Sangdruk exhale rich, spicy and herbal aroma.
  2. Mixed with saffron water and other traditional substances, then used to coat the inner surface of the statue, stupa or wealth vase to purify and cleanse it.
  3. Mixed with saffron water and other traditional substances, then used to purify and clean a surface prior to building a mandala.
  4. Used as an ingredient in "zungzhu" (traditional filling of statues and stupas).
  5. Used as one of the ingredients of wealth vase.
  6. Added to the traditional "three white and three sweet" torma ingredients.

Ingredients as below: cloves, nutmeg, green cardamom, black cardamom, saffron, bamboo.
